Queens Making Hip-Hop Herstory

In honor of Women’s History Month, we’re celebrating the many women who have shaped, innovated, and created Hip-Hop culture since the very beginning. Carving out unique places for themselves in the culture, women in Hip-Hop break barriers, innovate artistry, and inspire generations of girls that they, too, can express themselves and be down with the culture. And though Hip-Hop wouldn’t be the same without the many women who have shaped the culture, their stories often go untold.

This blog post is dedicated to all of the girls and women who have paved the way and to those that continue to shape Hip-Hop culture by being their own unique and powerful selves.
